You may have noticed, maybe, that quite a few of my drawings and paintings are on patterned paper bags (The kind you get when you buy birthday cards from gift shops).
This is today’s:
Sneaky peek at my sketchbook of my designs for ‘Four Note Opera’; an Opera about the stereotypes of Opera.
Having vast amounts of fun on this job!
Just sharing one of my set of costume designs.
These are a bit of a favourite from Bright Lights :Big City.
My Wardrobe Supervisor and I had a great day hunting through Brick Lane to find the choice 80’s pieces in quite a restrictive colour palette (entirely my fault).
So…..I’ve created a facebook ‘page’ for my theatre work.
I’d be delighted if any of you interesting folk would ‘like’ (or maybe even ‘share’!) it!

Thanks muchly in advance for your loveliness.

Can’t remember where I first read this…..I’ve always enjoyed the idea of it;
The idea that someone can bring a ‘lightness’ to your life.
I get it now.
So, you may have noticed that I’ve not been all that up to date with my updates.
The annoying thing is; I am drawing plenty everyday!
It’s just that juggling work projects at the moment is just not allowing me time for specific drawings for this blog. I literally don’t have the 45mins I like to set aside to put the post together.
But I have a new plan to keep this space going until I have the odd day to do a dated ‘Drawing A Day Drawing’; I’m going to start sharing with you the drawings that I am doing for my design projects, sketchbook pages and the like.
Hope this is agreeable to everyone!
Thanks for the continued support.
xx
